Check the car before you pay

Mobile used-car inspections in Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium. Diagnostics, real mileage, paint thickness and a report the same day.

A real problem

The seller says 98 000 km

The dashboard looks fine. The service book has “gone missing”.

I plug in the diagnostics. The ABS unit and gearbox remember something else.

A difference of 89,340 km. That's thousands of euros in repairs the seller “forgot” to mention.

A paint gauge doesn't lie

What the buyer sees and what I see

After a good repair you can't see the accident. But factory paint has an even thickness and body filler doesn't. Drag the slider.

  • 80–160 µm: factory paint
  • 160–300 µm: repainted
  • 300+ µm: filler, accident damage

Artur, CarCheck

About me

Hi, I'm Artur

I live in Aachen and help people avoid buying a problem car. A used car can look perfect and still have a rolled-back odometer, hidden accident damage or electronic faults.

I check every car as if I were buying it myself, and explain everything in plain words. In English, German or Ukrainian.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How long does an inspection take?

Usually 1–1.5 hours on site. I send the report the same day.

Do I need to be there?

No. You can join in person, watch on video, or just get the report.

What if the car turns out bad?

Then the inspection has already paid off: you didn't buy a problem worth thousands. I'll tell you honestly if a car isn't worth it.

Do you inspect at dealers or only private sellers?

Both. I arrange the time with the seller myself or together with you.

How do I pay?

Cash or bank transfer after the inspection. I quote the price including travel upfront.

Do you inspect hybrids and EVs?

Yes: basic diagnostics, body and mileage. For an in-depth battery test, I'll tell you where to get one.
